Seamoriow U-15
The Seamoriow U-15 is part of the club’s academy structure and provides a competitive environment for the development of young footballers within the Seamoriow pathway. The team combines regular competition with technical and tactical development, preparing players for progression through the club’s youth structure and ultimately towards senior football.
The U-15 operates under the wider technical structure overseen by Coach Matthew Tolulope, whose responsibilities cover the Senior Team and the Academy structure, including the U-15 side. His role is to maintain a consistent football philosophy across the different age groups while supporting the development and progression of young players.
Competition
The team is currently participating in the 2026 Nationwide League One (NLO) Division 2. Seamoriow began its campaign on 19 August 2026, drawing its opening match against Liqui Moly.
The U-15 also remains one of the club’s most successful youth sides in recent seasons. Seamoriow won the Seamoriow U-15 Championship in 2025 and is competing in the 2026 edition with the aim of retaining the title.
At the 2025 championship, Victor Sunday won both the Golden Boot and Golden Ball awards, recognising him as the tournament’s leading goalscorer and outstanding player.
Player Development and International Exposure
The team’s development programme has also provided players with opportunities beyond domestic competition. Joseph Oloko and Samuel Edem Okon were among a group of four boys and four girls selected for the LALIGA EA SPORTS Generation programme.
The young players travelled to Spain, where they trained alongside other youth players from Nigeria and other countries. The programme gave them an opportunity to experience the LALIGA football environment while gaining exposure to European football culture and training methods.
The U-15 therefore serves as an important part of Seamoriow’s player development pathway, combining competitive football with opportunities for young players to gain wider exposure and prepare for progression to higher levels of the game.
