As reported by the New Telegraph: The Chairman of Seamoriow Sports Limited, Oluwaseyi Amos, has said the reason for establishing the sports firm within the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State, was because of his determination to see football develop in the local government area as well as Lagos State as a whole.
Alimosho regarded as the most populous local government area in Nigeria with an estimated population of about 3-5 million residents, is adjudged to have more youths and the need to help change their life for the better.
According to Amos, the reason for starting the Seamoriow Sports project in 2022 was due to the empathy he has for the streams of youths who were wasting away because of inadequate facilities and lack of proper pitch to train so that they can maximise their potential and compete favourably with their contemporaries in any part of the world.
Seamoriow Sports has its own sports complex which houses a mini football pitch, dressing rooms, referee rooms, a medical centre for players and officials a VIP lounge and a functional drainage system.
